Eva Mª Cuerno is a Specialist Technician in Electricity and Electronics, Certificate of Higher Education (HNC) - Higher National Diploma (HND) since 1997. From 1999 she works as research support technician, in the Circuit Technology Laboratory, Department of Communications Engineering, at the University of Cantabria. She has a long experience in the tasks of manufacturing and assembly of circuits and integration of modules and subsystems, in the Clean Room of the laboratory, for radiofrequency and microwave applications, including the assembly of monolithic microwave integrated circuits, with micro-welding of gold wire. She participated in the development of the 30 and 44 GHz receivers of the Planck satellite and in the QUIJOTE experiment, by assembling and integrating all radio astronomy receivers in the 30 and 40 GHz bands, including cryogenic amplifiers, filters, correlators and detectors.
